Here are some of the questions that we receive most often. If you still have something you’d like to know, don’t hesitate to contact us for more details, and we will do our best to help you get all the information you need.
-
What type of wax do you use? – the container candles and wax melts are made from a coconut and rapeseed wax that has great sustainability credentials. They are free from paraffin, beeswax or soy. They are vegan friendly. The pillar candles are made from a paraffin wax as other wax types would not provide the gloss finish. We do not add scent to pillar candles.

-
Are the candles suitable for outdoor use? – no, all of our products including tealight holders are designed to be used indoors only.

-
Are the fragrance oils you use vegan friendly ?– all fragrances oils are vegan friendly, cruelty free and responsibly sourced.

-
Are you an eco-friendly brand ?– absolutely, this is important to us. We focus on sustainability and keeping our carbon footprint low. Candles are fuel to be burnt but everything else that we make can be recycled except the wick sticker found at the base of the container candles and the silicone rim to the candle lids. All the products we buy in come in 100% recyclable packaging.

-
Why don’t you use soy wax? – I found coconut wax to have a better scent throw than soy once a candle is lit and I had concerns that soy farming on an industrial scale was contributing to deforestation.

-
How do I remove leftover wax from a candle jar to reuse or recycle it? – gently warm the small amount of leftover wax with a hairdryer and pour this away. Clean out any residue then either put the jar in with the glass recycling or wash out to be used for another purpose.

-
How can I get the best out of my candle? – ensure you never burn it for more than 3-4 hours and always trim the wick before relighting.

-
When will my items be delivered? - we use Royal Mail 48 hour. Products in stock will usually be despatched within 2 working days. Personalised wood products need to be finished and have time to dry before being shipped. We do not guarantee delivery within any particular timescale.

-
Do you deliver to the Republic of Ireland.? - No. Please note that we do not export outside of the UK.
